We have an URGENT requirement for a Financial Controller; this is a hands-on role in a rapidly growing start-up company for an ambitious person who can work at a Controller level and provide management*Board information. The Financial Controller is responsible for the management of the basic financial processes and provision of accurate and timely Management Accounts; they also need to have attention for detail in order to troubleshoot*meet deadlines etc; the company accounts*admin function is small therefore the Financial Controller role will initially involve all of the necessary detail processing and filing of documents – there is tremendous opportunity to grow within this role as the company grows. Education*Skills: qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA, 2-3 years post qualified experience in a similar role, advanced Excel skills, accuracy, attention to detail and strong technical skills, self starter with the ability to work under pressure, a hands on attitude is also essential for this position. Experience: a background in a high growth industry would be beneficial, knowledge of Sage, experience of working in a start-up environment and any international experience will also be desirable.
